Designed and delivered by Ayurvedic Practitioner and Educator Faith Warner, M.CM (Ayurveda Medicine), PGCert (ed), B.Sc (Health Sciences)
We know that health is the most valuable thing we have in life yet, with the stresses of modern living, it's not always easy to maintain. These days it's too easy to eat fast, eat heavy and eat wrong - the wrong foods in the wrong way at the wrong times - which only adds up to poor health.
It's a forgotten secret that food is medicine, that we really are what we eat and that holistic nutrition is a key ingredient in the recipe for optimal health. As the classical texts say “When diet is wrong medicine is of no use, when diet is correct, medicine is of no need.”
During this course we will introduce you to the Ayurvedic concept of 'pathya ahara' - the art of preparing and enjoying healthy, wholesome, nutritious food suited to dosha and agni helping you to achieve optimal wellbeing for you and your family using 5,000 year old Ayurvedic wisdom
We look forward delving with you into ancient knowledge about our intimate relationship with food and how it contributes to well-being as well as walking you through simply recipes you can do at home and guiding you to select the right foods for you and your dosha.
